I have been quite busy and have really been unable to do any kind of TAP work at all.  Honestly, I’m really sorry about the lack up updates these last few months.  Fortunately, this is the time of year where things slow down to a literal crawl anyway, so there really isn’t all that much that you may have missed.  But I’m here today to provide a little info on a few items.  And for those inquiring, the Rush 2112 reissue (while quite silent, is a solid piece of info, I strongly believe given the root of the information originally supplied.  I promise to keep a close eye out for this info to emerge more solidly than it had.  Regardless of all this:

If you’re into collectibles, My Chemical Romance has their “number 3″ single being released on December 18 in a translucent blue 7”.  And on January 8, they plan the release of “Number 4″ in a green vinyl 7” issue.

On December 11, Green Day will have their ¡TRÉ! album on the market via Reprise Records in both the standard PA version as well as a thoughtful Amended version.

Scheduled for December 4, Rhino will release a 2CD Deluxe Edition of Discovery: Peter, Paul & Mary Live In Japan 1967.  This is a nice reissue title for this late date in the year.

Steven Wilson’s anticipated remix of Lark’s Tongue In Aspic by the inimitable King Crimson is scheduled for November 27 on CD/DVD Deluxe with 5.1 surround mixes includes.  Thank you, Steven.  Thanks, Discipline Records.  And thank-you, King Crimson and Robert Fripp, of course!

On December 4, Warner Bros Records will release a 2LP version of the latest album from Gary Clark, Jr, Blak and Blu.

Sub Pop Records will release Wrenched Virile Lore from Mogwai on December 4.  Wrenched Virile Lore is a collection of remixes.

For those Neil Young fans not aware, know that Psychedelic Pill is planned for Blu-ray Audio (the latest emerging hi-res audio option for fans of high sound) on November 19 via Reprise Records (bless Neil’s heart).

  1. The BD-Audio of Psychedelic Pill is going to be great. The album is fantastic, and Neil is known for great sound quality.
