Hello all! Let me extend apologies for non-posts during the months of July. I was out of the country. I had intended to make updates from there and things got too hectic. But I’m back now and will be posting one tomorrow. Thursday will be blank again but a return on Friday will happen. The week after will bring me back to normal.
On the subject, I gave some thought to the future of MusicTAP and decided to discontinue the site next year at some point. I’ve certainly enjoyed doing this site, which has been active since 2001. Loved every minute. I feel that times and information access has come to a new point where sites like mine are no longer really necessary. They’re are fun to produce but eventually you come to realize that the industry isn’t what it once was. And not that there isn’t any great music arriving on a steady basis, there is!! But access to that information is usually pushed to Amazon before I’m even told about it. I end up just regurgitating that info in a fuller way. and I wonder if it’s enough anymore to hold interest.
Nevertheless, I’m here at the moment. See you tomorrow.
Don’t shut the site down! It’s really nice to go to a single place to find music release information! Amazon only works if you know what you are looking for.

I agree with the other posters who say that they often find out about new releases here. Your site is usually the first one I go to in the morning, followed by SuperDeluxeEdition and TheSecondDisc. Please reconsider, if you can. You provide a very useful service. Thanks!
