We’re going to get everything from this incarnation of Black Sabbath yet. After the release of their well-received studio album, 13, they embarked on a large-scale tour in support of the collection of new tracks and to thrill long-time fans with a near complete original line-up and live versions of many, many classic. And they’re not done with upcoming South America and Mexico appearances on the calendar.
Many of their shows were sold out preventing more than a few fans from acquiring tickets. The simple fix? A DVD of live performances can do just the trick for those participating fans, and those left out in the cold.
On April 29 and May 1, the band had their performances at Melbourne, Australia recorded. On November 26, the result of those films will be released on DVD (and BD?) in a set called Live…Gathered In Their Masses. This DVD will arrive via Vertigo Records and Republic Records.
There are not a lot of details released as of yet. Just this preliminary announcement. But one thing is likely. The footage contained in this set will be loud and wild.
Mark your calendars.
So much work to do to fix the vocals….so little time!!!
