Our host, Matt, has been able to nail down quite a bit of information for you.  I have only been able to find a few scant pieces of information since the 4th Quarter crush has begun.
Amazon U.K. has put up a pre-order for Country Joe And The FishI Feel Like I’m Fixin’ To Die: Deluxe Edition.  It’s a 2-CD stereo/mono set from Vanguard Masters that is due outSeptember 30. (IMWAN)
There’s also been Blu-ray, DVD and Deluxe Edition packages put up at Amazon U.K. for The DoorsR-Evolution from the folks at Eagle Rock that is due November 25.  It is purporting to have rare Doors footage. (IMWAN)
There are going to be more SHM-SACDs coming out of Japan on November 27.  A very sharp-eyed digger of information over at the Hoffman Board discovered that Universal Japan will be releasing CreamDisraeli Gears (with both stereo and mono versions of the album presented along with 4 bonus tracks), Rod StewartEvery Picture Tells A Story, SupertrampBreakfast In America. The Sex Pistols Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols and The Police Regatta de Blanc.  (Hoffman Forum)
I also wanted to remind people that there’s been no hints or leaks lately concerning the Led Zeppelin individual album box sets in at least a month.  Either a sudden announcement will be sprung upon us very soon informing us of the first few boxes for the end of 2013 or else we may not see these boxes until at least the 1st Quarter of next year.  Now that Labor Day has passed, I suspect it’s getting to look more like the latter rather than the former.
I’m beginning to think that an announcement by Halloween is something we might realistically hope for at this juncture.  I seriously doubt that a Halloween notice will be a sign of 2013 release date.  It will likely be for 2014 instead.  That’s my conjecture at this point in time.  Jimmy’s really making us sweat this out.  I wish I could be a fly on the wall and be able to report to you what the hold-up has been.

  1. I would suggest that anyone interested in the sacd of Breakfast In America try to find the blu-ray audio version currently available instead. I got one from Amazon UK (which currently lists it as out of stock) and I thought the sound quality was awesome but, as we all know, that is a subjective opinion. I can’t imagine the sacd version being any better than the blu-ray version.

  2. Steve in regards to the Zeppelin once again remasters i understand Jimmy has been working on them, and each album for the first time will have extra tracks, not sure how long we will have to wait.
