Charles Lloyd is a saxophonist who has recorded albums for the great legacy labels since 1964. He has recorded for Columbia, Atlantic, ECM, and for the last nine years, with Blue Note Records. With a rich library of 50+ titles, he has left his mark in the world of Jazz. He has spent time with Charlie Mingus, as well as with Gábor Szabó.
On March 15, Charles Lloyd will release his newest album on Blue Note. The set of new songs will be a double set with 15 songs and is being called The Sky Will Still Be There Tomorrow. The new album will feature contributions to recordings by Jason Moran (piano), Larry Grenadier (Bass), and Brian Blade (Drums), and those musicians will receive co-billing on the cover. As of yet, there are no released singles.
The Sky Will Still Be There Tomorrow will be released on CD, higher resolution 44.1 kHz/24-bit DD, and vinyl 2LP in both standard black, and transparent Blue vinyl.
