In 1968, four from Birmingham (UK) set the stage as Black Sabbath. By the time 1970 rolled around, they released their innovative debut that delivered them as a new force in Rock. By their second set –Paranoid, also issued in the same year, they provided classics like “Iron Man”, “War Pigs”, and other classic tracks, the album was considered an instant hit. Paranoid is now considered one of the most important albums in the history of Rock and Roll, influencing a world of upcoming heavy metal bands. By 1978, Ozzy had left to form his new legacy period while Black Sabbath continued with Ronnie James Dio. By 1984, after a few lineup changes, all that was left of Black Sabbath was Tony Iommi. He released an album named Seventh Star, forced out as a Black Sabbath album by the label, employing the use of Glenn Hughes (Trapeze) as the vocalist.
On July 10, Rhino will reissue Seventh Star (1986) giving the set’s 9 tracks a new audio remaster, and adding in a bonus remix of “No Stranger To Love”.

This 2026 remaster of Seventh Star will be made available on CD, DD, and LP pressed on black vinyl.
