Foghat came from high pedigree known as Savoy Brown. Once they extricated themselves from that band, they formed Foghat and produced their first album, the self-titled set that went Gold and delivered the classic cover of the classic Willie Dixon blues track, “I Just Wanna Make Love To You”. Followed up with the (criminally) underrated Rock and Roll (1973), and regaining public interest with Energized, and Rock and Roll Outlaws, both in 1974. But with Fool For The City (1975), Foghat broke strong ground with the album and the front-running single, “Slow Ride”. 2025 celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Fool For The City.

On September 12, Rhino Entertainment and original label, Bearsville Records helps Foghat celebrate with a 2CD set that features the original album with a new 2025 remaster, and a second disc with never before released live performance tracks.

Fool for the City will reissue on 2CD, DD, and 2LP pressed on Green Coke Bottle clear vinyl.
