Queen emerged in to the record buying public with a self-titled debut issued in 1973. With that, the band issued two singles, both of which slowly led the band to recognition. by the time of Sheer Heart Attack, Queen was ruling the international airwave with “Killer Queen”. From there, the rise to greater fame grew with each successive album release and their Top20 singles. but it was the debut that brought them to the attention of the fans of rock music. In 2024, Queen celebrated the debut with a boxed set featuring the album newly remixed.
On June 13, the Dolby Atmos version, which has been remixed in 2024, will arrive in a LE BD-Audio version. This set will offer the original album in three forms that will include not only the Atmos mix, but also a 96kHz/24-bit high-resolution stereo mix (2024), and Stereo backing tracks (2024), also in 96kHz/24-bit high resolution. Brian May is particularly excited about these mixes and offers them in a Limited Edition set.
