According to online reports, Alan Parsons has inked a new deal with Italian record label Frontiers (Asia, Yes, 3, Vanden Plas) with a new album potentially bowing in early 2019.

“The Three of Me” featuring David Pack (Ambrosia)

This would mark the first sudio full-length for Parsons since 2004’s A Valid Path, which found him exploring electronica. The new record, tentatively titled The Secret, is expected to follow Parsons’ established sound as heard with The Alan Parsons Project, and solo records like Try Anything Once, On Air, and The Time Machine.

“Ignorance Is Bliss” featuring Colin Blunstone (The Zombies)

As Parsons described in an article from Prog Magazine: “The writing and recording sessions are going incredibly well…The album already has a working title, which is The Secret, and it will include musical and lyrical themes that are very close to my heart and my own interests and passions. I do not really want to reveal a lot about it, except that for the moment everything that surrounds The Secret is going to be just that… a secret!”

“Blown By The Wind” featuring Eric Stewart (10cc)
