The Tangent Announce Proxy, Released on Inside Out Music on November 16, 2018

Following up on 2017’s political scorcher The Slow Rust of Forgotten Machinery,  progressive rockers The Tangent are poised to unleash another set of inventive compositions upon a hopefully suspecting world.

Proxy begins where Slow Rust left off, then proceeds to push those genre-defying explorations even further—the press release promises “unexpected turnoffs and a major swerve.” Those familiar with Andy Tillison’s musical predilections can anticipate this is no idle threat.

As usual, The Tangent are inviting their fans deeper into the music with pre-orders that include options such as a full hour of album demos, a credit in the liner notes, an autographed CD, and a copy of Tillison’s solo project Kalman Filter.

In addition to these pre-order options, Proxy will see a regular release as a digital download, digipack CD, and on that most glorious of musical mediums, vinyl (with accompanying CD, as Inside Out provides for all their LP releases).

Proxy Tracklist:

1. Proxy
2. The Melting Andalusian Skies
3. A Case of Misplaced Optimism
4. The Adulthood Lie
5. Supper’s Off
6. Excerpt from Exo-Oceans
