ELP Once Upon a Time In South AmericaWith the upcoming remix of Emerson. Lake & Palmer‘s essential Trilogy album almost upon us, it isn’t surprising that there be other sets on the horizon. One of those sets is a 4CD collection of live ELP performances from their 1993, and 1997 tours that went through South America.

On March 31, Rockbeat Records plan the release of a collected 4CD, 42-live performance track Box that culls live music from the band’s tours and their stops in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. The album is called Once Upon A Time In South America.

  1. Nice! (No pun intended) It would have been interesting to see the band at this late phase of their career. I look forward to hearing this. I think it’s great that they seemed to change up the set list from night to night on this tour, instead of having the same one every show. That snipit of “Schizoid” on the last disc should be interesting – I liked the version they recorded for the Manticore box.
