Future Islands formed in 2005 and released their first album in 2008. Today, this band has seven studio sets including their latest 4AD album – People Who Aren’t There Anymore. that album has produced six singles, singles like the entrancing “The Tower”, and the equally hypnotic “King Of Sweden”. With a band such as Future Islands it’s realistic to believe that they have a lot of songs sitting on a shelf somewhere in need of public attention and revisitation.

On May 22, Future Islands and 4AD will release a collection of songs from the band that represent known tracks from their 20-year career, rarities, alternates, and a demo. All songs on this expanded set will be newly remastered. The sets will pack in a booklet that will provide commentary, notes, and photos. The set will be titled From A Hole In The Floor To A Fountain Of Youth. Tow songs are out as singles. You can hear “Find Love” below.

This new collection set will be issued on CD, DD, and Limited Edition 2LP with one Blue and one Orange-colored vinyl in the 2LP set.
