John Lydon was never afraid to take on the music world with music that he wanted to create and things he wanted to say. With the all too soon demise of his first mouthpiece, Sex Pistols, he managed to form an exemplary new band to continue. Public Image, Ltd (best known as PiL) released a string of 11 successful albums including Metal Box (1979). Metal Box was a clever way to distribute an album using 3 12″ 45RPM albums for about 60,000 copies (wish I still had mine). Later presses were delivered as Second Edition. Needless to say, John Lydon’s PiL was an exciting band to listen to, then and now.
In “late March”, Alive will be released to fans in a variety of small availability styles that will include signed and unsigned CDs, DD, and several color presses of vinyl LP that will include black vinyl, and orange vinyl, plus a few bundling sets. the track are pulled from the band’s This Is Not The Last Tour set of 2025 dates and will include 13 live performance tracks cherry-picked for this release.

There will be CD (signed and unsigned) limited to 600 copies each), DD, 2LP black vinyl (600 copies), 2LP signed orange vinyl LP with tote (limited to 600 copies), signed 3LP Orange vinyl with more tracks and a tote (Limited to 400 copies), and signed 3LP orange vinyl signed, with tote, and with an art print (limited to 200 copies).
