One of Rock’s more interesting “old-skool” bands, The Black Keys, seem a tireless band when it comes to their creativity. Originally formed in 2001 by Dan Aurebach, and Patrick Carney, this duo has produced 13 studio sets. Their last was in August 2025. Their strongest selling album is Brothers. Issued in 2010, the album has sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide, and is double platinum for the US. I enjoyed the hell out of their recent made-for-radio hit, “Beautiful People (Stay High)” (but I mourn the removal of the brilliant color Chris Saunders-produced dance video for the song from the internet – who has a link or copy of that?)

On May 1, The Black Keys returns with a brand new album that will contain 10 new songs. This set accelerates the band’s furious release schedules for their last 6 albums. A track from the upcoming new album – “You Got To Lose” is currently in circulation and can be heard below. The album is being released via the band’s boutique label, Easy Eye Sound. The set will be known as Peaches!.

Peaches! will be issued on CD, DD, vinyl LP that will include standard black, a limited edition Blue Jay LP (signed and unsigned editions), and cassette.
