Mick Ronson came to prominence as the guitarist for David Bowie and The Spiders From Mars. After the dissolution due to evolution of the band, Mick Ronson worked with Ian Hunter, first as part of Mott the Hoople, then when Ian Hunter went solo. But between those two events, Mick Ronson issued two albums for RCA. As part of the MainMan roster, Ronson had an inroad because of his tenure with Bowie. As a result, Ronson released two solo sets for RCA, Slaughter On 10th Avenue (1974), which did well on the UK charts, and followed by Play Don’t Worry (1975), which also did well on the UK charts. Even after those two sets, Mick Ronson remained quite busy as a sessions guitarist.
On November 7, Lemon Recordings (Cherry Red UK) will reissue Slaughter On 10th Avenue in an expanded set that will add in 4 bonus tracks to the album’s original 7 songs. This reissue will feature new remastering of the album. The booklet will contain new notes and more photos.

This edition of Slaughter On 10th Avenue will be reissued on CD and DD.
