Roxy Music still stands as one of the premier bands of the ’70s and early ’80s. They stopped at their absolute peak with Avalon in 1982. after the tour to support the album was finished, they moved on to different solo efforts before reuniting for a collective remembrance tour. But Roxy Music never created another band album after 1982. With that, the eight albums that they are well known for have become etched into the consciousness of Rock music from a time when being different earned you respect…and a devoted audience.
On July 18, five of the innovative Roxy Music sets from 1972 through 1975 that include their self-titled debut through to Siren will be offered in the Japanese SHMCD format, and all newly remastered for the reissue sequence. These titles include Roxy Music (1972), For Your Pleasure (1973), Stranded (1973), Country Life (1974), and Siren (1975). Each package will add the familiar Japanese lyrics translations. And if you’re the one who has top have them all, the entire reissue of the five albums are being offered in a SHMCD bundle package. To be issued via UMC Japan.
