The UK band, UFO, enjoyed their success period from their Chrysalis Records debut (their third album) of 1970. That album – Phenomenon – got on the US radar with an audience that liked their hard rock music. By 1977, with Lights Out, they were popular on both sides of the “pond”. Four albums into their Chrysalis period, they were producing classic sets that included the previously mentioned Lights Out, Obsession (1978), Force It (1975), and No Heavy Petting (1976). In 1980, the band (like all other bands of the ’70s) began to feel the sting of the New Wave era. Nevertheless, UFO maintained a hold on their base. After their Obsession set, they released No Place To Run (1980), their last strong issue before a slow but steady slide away from an adoring audience.

On August 15, Chrysalis Records will revisit the UFO album set that dealt with the departure of Michael Schenker by adding Paul Chapman to the guitar duties (he would remain for four albums with the band). That album was No Where To Run. This new reissue will offer the original album as a 2025 remaster expanded by the newly mixed add of their full Marquee show in London on November 16, 1980. This package will include a booklet that will contain new liner notes and interview segments with Phil Mogg and Andy Parker. No Place To Run enjoyed the success of two singles, “Lettin’ Go” and “Young Blood”.

This No Place To Run reissue will be offered on 2CD, DD, and 3LP 180g-weight black vinyl set housed in a tri-fold jacket.
