Rod Stewart has enjoyed an enviable shelf life as an artist. Beginning in 1964 with his involvement with Long John Baldry before moving on to the Jeff Beck Group in 1967, and Faces in 1969. By 1971, his solo career began to skyrocket, which inevitably led to the disbanding of Faces in 1975. His solo years generated over 30 albums, all large sellers including a 2024 release with Jools Holland. He continues to dominate in sales and stage appearances.
On June 27, Warner Music will release a new career-spanning collection of Rod Stewart hits to be known as Ultimate Hits. This package will undergo a variety of offerings commiserate with his standing and sales capabilities. This set will offer in its best form, 30 tracks that include selections from his recent 2024 album. some of the tunes have been remastered in 2025.
Ultimate Hits will be made available in a truncated 16-track CD, a full 30 for the 2CD set, DD, a 20-track 2LP pressed on Green vinyl, and a Blu-ray Audio package that provide 20 of the tracks in high-definition audio. In addition (for collectors), the 2CD and BD-Audio sets will offer an alternate cover.
