Gary Moore, once with Thin Lizzy, although for a brief but influential period, is best known for his solo works. With more than 15 solo sets and four more with others, his output was rich and full. Gary Moore died in 2011 known as a bluesman who helped shape the world of Rock with his style of play.
On June 23, BMG will release a 4CD/BD boxed set to be called The Sanctuary Years: 1999-2004. This set will bring together his four albums on Sanctuary (A Different Beat – 1999, Back To The Blues – 2001, Scars (with Cass Lewis and Darrin Mooney) – 2002, Power Of The Blues – 2004). Additionally, a Blu-ray is being provided with a 5.1 Surround mix for Back To The Blues, as well as interview segments. Scattered around are a remix, two live performance tracks, a single edit, and a hidden track edit. the booklet includes new notes and a collection of photos, credits, and more. A sticker, a poster, and memorabilia is added in to enhance the box.
