While Gentle Giant enjoyed a nice spread of devout fans, they did not have the attention of the audience as YES, or other Progressive bands of the time enjoyed. This did not properly reflect their genius on vinyl and on the stage. However, over the years, Gentle Giant has maintained a steady stream of interest shown only to the forever classic collection of bands.
On June 16, let it be known that Gentle Giant will celebrate the Progressive Rock/Jazz Fusion genius of ĭn′terview, their 8th album originally issued in 1976. This reissue will feature a new 2022 Stephen Wilson remix that is found in the Stereo, Dolby Atmos 5.1 Surround, and more. Included will be the original Quad mix, which appeared in 2012 despite it having been mixed in Quadrophonic 4-Channel back in 1976. As is usual for Stephen Wilson, a remixed instrumental set will also accompany the reissue. The original mix will make the appearance as well.
ĭn′terview will be released on CD, CD/BD, and a standard black 180g-weight vinyl LP set. A Limited Edition 180g-weight Sky Blue color LP will also be made available.
