For many, Cat Stevens personified the Folk and Rock fusion back in the early ’70s when his music could be heard on AM Top 40 and FM radio, and sung by friends. He released 11 albums with his original name adoption, and twelve more as Yusuf Islam (after a nearly 20 year hiatus). A collection of highly prized singles punctuated his catalog with such classics as “Moonshadow”, “Peace Train”, “Morning Has Broken”, and “Oh Very Young” among others.

On November 12, the 3-times Platinum album, Teaser and The Firecat will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a Deluxe set. This package will assemble 4CDs along with a BD and pack in a 108-page softcover book filled with photos, notes, essays, memorabilia, and credits. The CDs will provide a new remaster of the original album that was home to three high-charting singles, a catalog of previously unreleased demos from the era, and 21 previously unreleased television performances. The BD will also provide HD Audio versions of the original album.

The 50th Anniversary of Teaser and the Firecat will be released in an all-inclusive 4CD/BD/2LP/7″ Single Deluxe Box (that includes a 44-page replica booklet, a smaller 4CD/BD box, a 2CD set, a CD release, and a single vinyl LP issue. There are plenty of configurations to satisfy the most ardent fan of the album. Purchase Link.
