Back in February, I let you know that the release for an anticipated box set for Public Image, Ltd called The Public Image Is Rotten was on the way (here). And earlier this month, I alerted you to the date of release that I was provided with (here). Now, there are track-lists available. (I’m a big PiL fan!) This boxed set will contain PiL singles, B-sides, rarities, 12″ mixes, radio sessions, previously unreleased mixes and tracks, and a live 1989 NYC Ritz concert, all over five CDs. The other two discs in the box will be DVDs that will feature a series of videos and live footage from various television shows. There will also be two live sets from 1988 and 2013, featured over both DVDs. A 72-page book, poster, and prints are packed in. And so without further bluster, here’s the info for those that might not have already seen this elsewhere.
On July 20, Virgin Records will oversee the release of The Public Image Is Rotten (Songs From The Heart). The set will be released on 5CD/2DVD. DD. and 6LPs for your personal preference in purchase.
