avenged-sevenfold-the-best-of-2005-2013With the new release of their latest album, The Stage (October 28, 2016), Avenged Sevenfold continues to explore societal breakdowns lyrically, adding a great craft of music that powers the concepts this metal band from Huntington Beach, CA is so good at. And with seven albums out since their beginnings from 2001, the band just gets better and better. Now that The Stage is out, there is some room for a ‘best of’ collection from their Warner Brothers years.

On December 2, watch for a 2CD set of music collected between the WB years of 2005 and 2013. (Their newest album, The Stage, is released by Capitol Records.) The set is being called The Best of 2005-2013.

The Best of 2005-2013 will contain eighteen songs (see track-list below), with a few non-album tracks. Along with the obvious tunes, there will be their cover of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”, originally on the Covered, A Revolution In Sound tribute album dedicated to the classic Warner Brothers Records label and their artists. Also, A7X recorded more than an album’s worth of game music. Two of them are included in this collection (“Carry On” from Call of Duty, and “Not Ready To Die” from Call of the Dead).

The Best of 2005-2013 will be released on 2CD sets, Edited and Explicit (PA).
