Universal UK will reissue two classic Rick Wakeman titles that include The Six Wives Of Henry VIII (1973), and The Myths And Legends Of King Arthur And The Knights Of The Round Table (1975). The Deluxe Editions of these titles are planned as CD/DVD sets, currently scheduled for the UK marketplace (for now).

Rick Wakeman gained his foothold in music, first as a session man, then as the keyboardist for Strawbs. After these brief stays, he became the highly regarded keyboardist for YES, becoming a legendary part of Fragile, Close To The Edge, Tales From Topographic Oceans, Going For The One, Tormato, and Union. Between all of these affiliations, Rick Wakeman composed excellent progressive pieces that include the above mentioned titles, as well as Journey To The Centre Of The Earth (1974), No Earthly Connection (1976), and others. All were chart successes that endeared him to many fans.

On February 2, Universal UK will reissue both titles. As of yet, there is little information as to what these will contain (beyond the remastered audio). But, with a CD and a DVD in the pack, it should be quite interesting. It might even be 5.1 Surround for fans of that format.

Stay posted for more info as it becomes available.
