Sony Masterworks have the new Tedeschi Trucks Band (Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks) album on the calendar for August 20.  The new album, Made Up Mind, follows their 2011 release, Revelator, and will be issued in both CD and LP formats.

Audio Fidelity have a Gold CD remaster of CSN (1977) by Crosby, Stills and Nash slated for a July 16 date.

Rounder Records delivers the new Allen Toussaint album, Songbook, on August 20.

Rounder Records also have Roll Me, Tumble Me coming from The Deadly Gentlemen on July 9.

Heads Up Records will release Handpicked from Earl Klugh on July 30.

Pat Travers Band have a new album coming on July 9 via Frontiers Records.  The new album is called Can Do.  (I’ve always liked Pat Travers, so looking forward to hearing this one.)

Impex Records have a Gold CD reissue of Child Is Father To The Man from Blood, Sweat & Tears, scheduled for July 16.

Megaforce Records will release Snapshot: Anthrax on August 20.

Stormy Forest Productions will reissue Alarm Clock (1971), from Richie Havens on August 6.

Analogue Productions will release SACD remasters of 24 Karat Hits! featuring the music of Elvis Presley, Elvis Is Back, and Stereo ’57: Essential Elvis, Volume 2.  These SACDs are slated for release on July 9.

Domino Records will release the new Franz Ferdinand album on CD and LP, both planned for August 27.  The new album will be called Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions. I know, huh!

JSP Records will release Lightnin’ Hopkins, Acoustic Years 1959-1960 on 4CDs for July 16.

Superior Viaduct will re-release Hardcore from Devo on July 9.

Merge Records announce the new album from Superchunk, I Hate Music, for a release date of August 20 on both CD and LP. I love the cover!

  1. I liked Pat Travers too. I heard he was up to something but it’s nice to have a date.
    Not sure if you ever posted this or not but Andrew Stockdale (Wolfmother) put out a solo album today.
    And,,, I assume you’ve heard it but I’ve just listened to the first 3 songs on the new Sabbath album and am very impressed so far.

    1. Didn’t know about Stockdale (thanks for that). Heard the Sabbath album, very good but I expected that. My main problem is getting Lily Madeleine girls out of my head and back on the shelf.
