The pace is slow but sure at the Audio Fidelity offices. Expertly run by industry pioneer, Marshall Blonstein, Audio Fidelity has continued to provide high grade audio updates for fans of bands that are lucky enough to be chosen.
On November 25, Audio Fidelity will reissue a new new Stereo Hybrid SACD of Timepieces: The Best Of Eric Clapton, the 1982 ‘best of’ that, sadly, does not include “Hello Old Friend” from No Reason to Cry (1976). Regardless, the great news is that since its from RSO, my extreme hope is that eventually No Reason To Cry will be made available as an SACD. (Fingers crossed!)
Also being reissued on November 25, is Blackout, the 1982 classic from Scorpions.
Great to see Blackout available soon. It was originally announced about a year ago. That explains why the catalog number is so low.
The Clapton set could also stand to add “The Core”.
