Metallica, an LA-based band that achieved superstardom by 1983 with the release of their first set – Kill ‘Em All. That superstardom continued to climb all the way through their continuing career. With 11 studio sets to their library, and the best-selling (21 million in the US alone!) Live Shit: Binge & Purge (1983), the band has done admirably for themselves and continue to do so. For a time, the band has been reissuing their sets in remastered packages. And now it’s time for another.
On June 26, Metallica will further immortalize ReLoad (1997) with a brand new remaster of the original set and appended with a MASSIVE collection of live performance tracks, previously unreleased demos, rough mixes, and a ton more. The entire boxed set will contain 15CDs, 4DVDs, 5LPs for a total of 236 unreleased tracks. Now, THAT’S digging into – and saving in – the vaults. the Box, to be called ReLoaded, will pack in a 128-page book, a lyric folder, an 11×13 poster, a print, 3 tour pass laminates, 13 Rorschach test cards pack, 10 guitar and bass picks, and a Fully Loaded sticker.

ReLoaded will be reissued in the previously mentioned 15CD/4DVD/5LP box, and in addition, CD with album remastered, 3CD Expanded, 2LP Black vinyl, Cassette, and DD.
