Sharon Van Etten is an American singer/songwriter that has captured the hearts of fans. Coupled with a voice that stays with you long after you have heard it, and the songcraft that she is quite capable of, Sharon Van Etten has created five albums of excellence. In addition, she has covered songs that already resonate with others, (“Do You Realize?” – The Flaming Lips), “Starman” – David Bowie, “The End Of The World” – Skeeter Davis, “In My Room” – The Beach Boys, and “Femme Fatale” – Velvet Underground (to name just a few). On February 7, Jagjaguwar Records will release a new album from Sharon Van Etten that will be attributed to Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory. their album will be a self-titled debut that will offer ten new tracks, one of which also can be heard below – “Afterlife”. The Attachment Theory are Jorge Balbi (percussion). Devra Hoff (bass), and multi-instrumentalist, Teeny Lieberson.
Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory will be issued on CD, DD, and two color versions of vinyl that include standard black LP, and an Immortality Edition in blue and purple LP (comes with a signed promo photo).
