Crowded House came into being after Split Enz, the New Zealand band gave up the ghost in 1984. Crowded House, in its first incarnation, last for slightly over ten years and delivered four best-selling classic studio sets, and bolstered sales with “Don’t Dream It’s Over”, “Something So Strong”, and other songs. The band reformed in 2006, and then again several times over the next few years through to the present time.
On May 31, Crowded House, with Neil Finn, will release a new album that will have 11 songs within. The album will be called Gravity Stairs. The BMG-released set has a single out ahead of the album – “Oh Hi”, which can be enjoyed below.
Gravity Stairs will be released on CD, DD, and a blue colored vinyl LP offering.

Sorry but just have to correct you – Split Enz were a New Zealand band and Crowded House are an Aus/NZ band. Imagine if Taylor Swift was called a Canadian. You are not the first to make that mistake.
Apologies. Will make the corrections. I am never above a correction!
Many thanks – that’s great that you have changed it.
NZ is a bit protective of the Finn dynasty (and now two of Neil’s sons are in CH) so we get a bit upset when they get called Australian.
Should be another great CH album.
Cheers,
Stephen
