The UK Pub-Rock scene of the New Millennium could easily hold court with the UK music of the late ’70s, and the early ’80s, and easily enough at that. One of the bands proving that is The Libertines. Since 2002, they have released 3 studio sets, their last in 2015. Their first was Up The Bracket, which enjoyed immediate success and critic approval as well as two UK hit singles.
On October 21, The Libertines will celebrate the Mick Jones-produced UK classic Up The Bracket on its 20th Anniversary. The new reissue will feature a brand new remaster as well as a collection of previously unheard demos for the album, alternate takes and outtakes from the sessions, radio sessions, live performance tracks, and B-Sides. The Deluxe Edition will contain 3LPs (one of which contains the original album remastered), 2 Red-color vinyl 7″, 2CDs, a DVD with videos and extras, and a cassette of demo tracks.
The 20th Anniversary of Up The Bracket will also reissue as a 2CD set, a 2LP set, DD, and a 2LP Red-color vinyl package. The 2CD and 2LP sets will provide the remastered album, and the Live At The 100 Club set.
