Alice Cooper (the band AND the man) has become a lot of things to different people. Many love his after band persona, some maybe even much better than the band version. (For me, I’m ALL Alice Cooper from the backtracked Pretties For You, and Easy Action on through to the band’s last, Muscle of Love. Not so much afterward.) Nevertheless, there is no denying that Alice Cooper was a Rock force that helped merge theatrics and Rock into the mainstream. And Vincent Furnier has been doing that for decades with as much a draw of audience and fan as any the name drew. While I would love Anniversary Edition Boxes of Love It To Death, Killer, School’s Out, and Muscle of Love, there is much to love from his post-original band years.
On July 31, Rhino Entertainment will release the first four post-band Alice Cooper albums that include Welcome to My Nightmare (1975), Alice Cooper Goes to Hell (1976), Lace And Whiskey (1977), and From The Inside (1978). The four albums receive a fresh 2026 remastering and will be packed into a box along with an bonus disc (Bonus Misdemeanors) of seven bonus rarities. The box will be called The Studio Albums 1975-1978.
This new Alice Cooper box will be presented as a 5CD Box, DD, and a 5LP box.
