Nicolette Larson surprised and enraptured an American audience with her cover of the Neil Young track, “Lotta Love”. And for a ten-year period, she had issued seven albums. Of those seven, only her first (with “Lotta Love”) sold as well as it could. Nicolette Larson released only one more album before her untimely passing in 1997 at the young age of 45. She left behind a timeless batch of songs.
On November 14, Lemon Recordings (Cherry Red UK) will celebrate the musical heritage of Nicolette Larson with a 4CD set that will include her four sets with Warner Brothers Records. Along with those remastered 57 tracks will be a collection of 7 bonus tracks. In this set will be the “promo-only” live package, Live at the Roxy, which was issued in 1979 at the height of her fame. The set will be called Look In My Direction: The Warner Bros. Recordings, which will include Nicolette (1978), Live At The Roxy (1979), In The Nick Of Time (1979), Radioland (1981), and All Dressed Up And No Place To Go (1982).
Look In My Direction will issue on 4CD and DD.
