Little Feat, an LA-formed band that found its step in the early ‘70s, only to disband in the late ‘70s due to disagreements on band direction, released 7 peak lineup albums before Lowell George’s death in 1979. (The band released more after George’s passing.) One of those was The Last Record Album, which issued in 1975.

On October 24, Rhino will revisit The Last Record Album to help celebrate the album’s 50th Anniversary. Scheduled will be a 4CD set along with a 2LP package. The 4CD will pack in a CD full of 12 bonus cuts along side the original album’s 8 masterful tracks. In addition, the remaining two CDs will feature the full show from The Orpheum Theatre in Boston, MA on October 31, 1975, with 16 performance tracks. The 2nd CD with the rarities will feature 3 demos, 2 rough mixes, an outtake, 4 alternate versions, and a single mix of “All That You Dream”.

The 50th Anniversary expanded and remastered reissue of The Last Record Album will be available in a 4CD package, a truncated 2LP set, and DD.
