Slash is the guitarist for Guns ‘n Roses, a position held over two points. It is his distinctive sound that helps make Guns ‘n Roses the power band they were back in the ’80s beginning with the millions upon millions of Appetite For Destruction that sold for the band’s debut album. Slash himself also did more band work with Slash’s Snakepit, and Velvet Revolver. He released a solo album back in 2010.
On May 17, Slash returns for an album of covers to be called Orgy Of The Damned. This album will feature 12 familiar tracks (like “Papa Was A Rolling Stone”), all with guest vocalists that include Paul Rodgers, Demi Lovato, Iggy Pop, Brian Johnson, and Chris Robinson, to name a few.
Orgy Of The Damned will be released on CD, DD, and 2LP pressed on industry standard black vinyl. Below is the video of the first single for the album, “Killing Floor” with AC/DC’s Brian Johnson. Pre-order here.
