Billy Idol ran with Generation X for five years and three albums before hopping off the wagon to seek what would become a successful solo career. His peak period run lasted four albums (there were more albums, though) and generated a whopping mass of singles that include “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell”, “Dancing With Myself”, “Mony Mony”, “Eyes Without A Face”, and more. His Rebel Yell album was issued in 1983 and produced four hit singles including “Flesh for Fantasy”. Last year celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Rebel Yell.
On April 26, Rebel Yell will reissue as 2CD, DD, and Limited Edition 2LP sets that include 2LP black vinyl, and 2LP color vinyl (1LP – Blue Splatter and 1LP – Orange Splatter) that will feature remastered original album and a collection of bonus tracks that largely included demo tracks.
