Slade is a band that rocked the world with their brand of pub-styled Rock back in the ’70s. With hits like “Gudbuy T Jane”, “My Friend Stan”, “Get Down and Get With It”, “Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me”, “Cum On Feel The Noize”, “Mama Weer All Crazee Now”, and the perennial favorite (that keeps Lea and Holder in ample holiday spending power), “Merry Xmas Everybody”. The original Slade released 15 studio albums during their 20+ years of music.
On February 23, BMG continues their refresh of the Slade library with a reissue of Till Deaf Do Us Part. This set of 12 tracks was originally issued in 1981. For this new reissue, there will be two bonus tracks that include a single edit of “Rock And Roll Preacher (Hallelujah I’m On Fire)” and the B-side “Funk, Punk & Junk” (for A-side “Ruby Red”). The included booklet offers an extensive booklet with notes, photos, and more.
The other disc being offered is Live At The New Victoria featuring an April 1975 show in London at the New Victoria (now known as the Apollo Victoria), recorded during the height of their popularity.
Till Deaf Do Us Part will be released on extremely Limited Edition CD, DD, and an extremely Limited Edition White and Black Splatter vinyl LP. There will only be 400 copies produced for the US market, so act fast if you want one)! The vinyl LP will NOT contain either of the two bonus tracks to be found on the CD.
