The Moody Blues were a triumphant force in Rock with its blend of orchestral and thoughtful Progressive Rock elements. They were one to re-energize a past album – Days Of Future Passed, which was originally released in 1967. “Nights In White Satin” climbed to 19 in the UK charts but did nothing in the US. In 1972, the single was reintroduced and fared much better in all markets. It reawakened fans and gained new ones, myself included. From that point, they were in the minds and ears of music lovers worldwide gaining strong singles from then onward. John Lodge was the bass player for the band, who also enjoyed a successful duo set release with Justin HaywardBlue Jays (1975). Lodge was also a strong songwriter for the band.

On February 23, John Lodge will re-release his fourth solo album – Days Of Future Passed – My Sojourn, this time for the US marketplace. On the Deko Entertainment-released album are newly re-recorded tracks from the 1967 Moody Blues album classic. All seven songs with their various sub-parts (17 titles in all) are in the new album. (Days of Future Passed has a 4-channel Quad mix from 1977 that should be reissued…right?!) The album was recorded in 2022 with the 10,000 Light Years Band and was released in the UK in 2023. This new release is the US market plan with no vinyl LP, which was released in the UK market and still can be purchased as an import, albeit a bit pricey.

Days Of Future Passed – My Sojourn will be re-released on CD (digipak) and DD.
