Head East was a Central Illinois (Pekin, to be factual) band that created and enjoyed a singular 1975 hit with “Never Been Any Reason” from their debut, Flat As A Pancake. Although they recorded eight more studio sets, a live album, most for A&M Records, they were never able to reproduce the classic hit of the previously mentioned song. These days, only Roger Boyd remains from the popular original line-up.
On December 29, the band (with Roger Boyd) will release a new album with a few re-recorded tracks of their earlier tracks, “Never Been Any Reason” included. There will be thirteen songs, three of them brand new original compositions. the new album will be called Full Circle, an apt title for the new set.
Full Circle will be released via Cleopatra Records and will be issued on CD and DD.
