Ultravox To Celebrate 40th Anniversary Of Rage In Eden With 4CD/DVD Box

Ultravox formed in the late ’70s riding the crest of the punk movement that held heavy sway at the time. They originally had John Fox as the vocalist before moving over to Midge Ure after Foxx left the band. With this new lineup, Ultravox enjoyed a raging success in the UK with their 1980 album, Vienna. They folllowed that classic up with Rage In Eden. Their next three through 1986 yielded high charting and singles as well as Gold status in the UK market.

On September 2, Ultravox will reissue Rage In Eden (after their reissue of Vienna in 2020 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album). This set will celebrate its own 40th Anniversary with a Deluxe Edition will issue with a new Steven Wilson remix. Within the box set’s 4CDs and DVD will be 86 tracks, all representative of the album. The DVD will add in high resolution Stereo and 5.1 Surround mixes.

Rage In Eden will be released in the boxed 4CD/DVD edition for now.
