Jools Holland helped to make the UK band, Squeeze, a radio-friendly name during the ’70s and ’80s. His keyboard style originally attracted legendary NYC band, Wayne County and The Electric Chairs, and later Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Magazine, and a host of other artists. Eventually, Jools Holland would veer off into a solo career that generated a strong collection of album releases, some that have done quite well for the keyboardist. He is also the essential TV host for Later…with Jools Holland, and a weekly BBC2 radio program, Jools Holland.
On November 19, Jools Holland returns to recorded music with a new album, Pianola – Piano & Friends. The new album will offer 21 tracks, all with collaboration of many of the world’s great musicians. Those would include David Gilmour, Booker T., Dr. John, Tom Jones, Joe Bonamassa, Rick Wakeman, and others (see list below). A lead-off single – “Do The Boogie” with Mousse T. can be sought out via streaming services.
Pianola – Piano & Friends will be released on CD, DD, and vinyl 2LP.
