The Who has released twelve studio albums that have easily cemented them as one of Rock’s most notable bands. They trailblazed with two successful Rock Operas, and would have done a third with the unrelease Lifehouse (cannibalized for the excellent Who’s Next album). The rest of their music are well-known and well-loved classics. One of those is the 1967 The Who Sell Out.
On April 23, The Who will reissue The Who Sell Out as a large-scale box package with 5CDs, 2 vinyl singles, an 80-page hardbound book, a treasure of posters. programs, a business card, a bumper sticker, and other inserts, and 112 tracks, 46 of which are previously unreleased. So there’s plenty to enjoy in this definitive Deluxe Box. In addition to this set, there will be a 2CD 6-panel digipak Edition with a 16-page booklet, DD, and two 2LP packages (color [Odorono Red/ Baked Beans Orange in Mono] and standard black in Stereo). Both 2LP sets feature the original album, and selected extras.
