What can you say about Andy Williams except “he’s one of the greats”! With a magnificent career that spanned a length of approximately 40 years in recorded music that produced over 40 studio albums, Andy Williams was a multi-generational fascination, a fascination that extends to this very day. This endurance includes a pleasant handful of Christmas titles that many of us grew up on.
On November 28, during the PBS presentation of Andy Williams: Greatest Love Songs (My Music), a 92-song 4CD set featuring classic Andy Williams songs will be made available as a gift for donations to PBS. The 4CD set will be titled The Ultimate Collection and will feature brand new remastering of the tracks by Vic Anesini. As if these things weren’t enough, the 4CD set will also present 8 bonus tracks that are previously unreleased. The releasing label is TJL. The donation requirement is a hefty one and so this new package is likely reserved for the most ardent of Andy Williams fans.
