I’ve recently found myself under the spell of Heather Victorino, a dynamic singer in the “classic” country mold of Dolly Parton, Brenda Lee, etc. Her voice is powerful; soothing – golden, like honey. She carries emotions across like a wave breaking on the shore and this new track, “Long Way Home” is proof positive of her talent.

You can actively “feel” what she’s saying/singing; the music works perfectly with the lyrics – mournful; yearning and yet with a tinge of hope. And this track is a great leap forward from her bright, upbeat “swingin'” E.P., Bullet Proof (also, an amazing array of 5 tracks).

This – to my ear/mind – is an instant classic. Listen – and think about it. You’ll embrace the impact.

“Long Way Home” is available for download, etc.

*Bullet Proof is currently available also
