The legacy of Neil Diamond has impacted decades of music. His most important years were from the ’60s on through the New Millennium. During this expansive period, ND delivered more than 30 studio albums, six high-charting live collections, and more than a few singles (right?!). His last album of originals was Melody Road, released in 2014. With the exception of his 2016 Acoustic Christmas album, it’s been a while.
On November 20, Capitol Records will release a new Neil Diamond set called Classic Diamonds. This new album will contain 14 newly recorded classic songs like “Song Sung Blue”, “Holly Holy”, “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers”, Sweet Caroline”, and “America”. These new tracks will be sung with the assistance of the London Symphony Orchestra, with recording done at Abbey Road Studios. You can hear “Heartlight” from the new album below.
Classic Diamonds will be issued on CD, DD, HD-DD, and vinyl 2LP packages.
