While the news of the passing of Pete Shelley hit hard, we were just getting ready to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the two important first releases of Buzzcocks classics. Just announced are Limited Edition LPs and CDs arrivals for Another Music In A Different Kitchen (1978), and Love Bites (1978). Both albums were incredible displays of incredible talent.
On January 25, Domino will revisit the two Punk classic sets from the short-lived band with color vinyl and CD, both featuring newly remastered sets from the original tapes. In addition, the cover art for both are completely restored.
Another Music In A Different Kitchen is the band’s official debut AFTER the arrival of the Spiral Scratch EP (the only Buzzcocks to feature original bandmate, Howard Devoto before he went on to form the equally important Magazine band). And as bands did in those days, Buzzcocks followed up quickly with Love Bites in a mere six months from the release of the UK-adored debut.
Another Music In A Different Kitchen will be reissued on Limited Edition silver colored vinyl, standard black vinyl (with an 8-page booklet), and CD (with a MASSIVE 36-page booklet.
Love Bites will be reissued on Limited Edition White colored vinyl, standard black vinyl (with a glossy 8-page booklet), and CD (also with a MASSIVE 36-page booklet).
All booklets will feature previously unseen photos, extensive notes, and credits.
Long live the memory of Pete Shelley!
