The Who The Brunswick Singles BoxThe Who is one of those bands that get an immediate head turn when mention of music comes to light. Whether that be a Blu-ray Edition of Quadrophenia, or a collection (one of many) that include the recent The Who At 50!. There’s good reason enough. The Who has been as important to our Rock and Roll consciousness as has The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and others.

On April 6, via Universal Music in the UK, there will be a 7″ vinyl singles Box coming that will highlight the singles releases on the Brunswick label, their original label. It is the first of four intended vinyl single Boxes that explore their single issues by label affiliation. through the course of this year (2015), and the next, the other Box sets will feature 7″ vinyl singles from Reaction Records, Track Records, and Polydor Records.

Volume One: The Brunswick Singles 1965-1966 box will contain eight singles (seven original and one bonus High Numbers single) as they were originally released in the UK (with die-cut middle and spindle hole unique to the UK single releases of the period). Each 7″ single are pressed on heavyweight vinyl and housed in original art paper sleeves. All singles will be stored in a lidded tray box. The Box will add in a 7″ sized booklet that features liner notes, pertinent info, and photos for each single.

Included in this box will be a bonus single with The Who known as The High Numbers. The singles are listed below:

  1. Should have released Meaty, Beaty, Big amp; Bouncy instead. It would have been a whole lot cheaper and convenient.
