Audio Fidelity will create their first Box set with a Gold CD Deep Purple collection. The metal box will contain remastered versions of In Rock (1970), Fireball (1971), Machine Head (1972), and Who Do We Think We Are? (1973), all on Gold CD. There is no release date set in stone as of yet.
Fuel Records have several releases coming on September 30 that include Sweeter Than Candy: The Rarities Collection featuring the music of Carl Perkins, No More Than You Can Handle: A 40 Year Musical Journey featuring Orleans, and Silk And Satin: The Rare Songbook featuring music from Julie London.
There are ICON series titles coming for Crystal Gayle, Frank Sinatra, Ice Cube, Olivia Newton-John, Ricky Nelson, and The Rat Pack. These materialize on October 8.
Simha Records have the new Sarah Brightman album, Dreamchaser, on the calendar for an October 15 release date.
Eagle Rock Entertainment have several CD albums coming on October 8 that include Live At Montreux 1996 and 2006 featuring Deep Purple, Live At Montreux with Joe Cocker, and Ride Til I Die & The Hard Stuff from George Thorogood.
Atlantic Records have a holiday album planned from Straight No Chaser called Under The Influence: Holiday Edition, and is scheduled for October 22.
Blackheart Records will release new Joan Jett & The Blackhearts music with Unvarnished, planned for September 30, CD and LP.
Savoy Records have an album coming from Steve Nieve named ToGetHer, planned for October 8.
Republic Records will release Magpie And The Dandelion from The Avett Brothers on October 15 on CD, LP, and DD formats.
Rounder Records have Move It On Over, and George Thorogood & The Destroyers, both from George Thorogood & The Destroyers, and both planned for vinyl LP release on October 22.
If you’re waiting for that Moondance upgrade, the Van Morrison album reissue that many are waiting for, you’ll have to wait a little longer. The new release date is now pegged at October 22.
Relayer Records have XMas on the mind with the the intended re-release of The Sound Of Christmas – Deluxe Anniversary Edition by Al Hirt. This 1965 album will be remastered, and expanded with two bonus tracks (“Hooray for Santa Claus”, “White Christmas”). It is slated for release on October 15. It also represents the first time this title has been released on CD.
Friday Music will release a 180g Limited Edition vinyl LP of Golden Butter – The Best Of The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, on October 15.
Friday Music will re-release Chic and C’est Chic by Chic in a 2CD Limited Edition, newly remastered, on October 15.
And finally, the full-length self-titled album from Lily & Madeleine will hit stores on October 29 via Asthmatic Kitty Records. This video is a new song from the album. If you were lucky, you have already heard this duo’s five song EP (The Weight Of The Globe), all of which will be included on the debut release.
