The legacy of David Crosby is a deep one. His participation in some of Rock’s greatest ventures include the Byrds, and Crosby, Stills, & Nash, as well as a monumental personnel addition to that group with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and CPR, a Jazz-Rock band with Jeff Pevar, and James Raymond. And then there’s his solo albums, four of them, one of which achieved Gold status (sales of 500,000 units, a feat that would astound today’s bands).
There’s much to say about David Crosby musically. It’s why he was a vital part of the bands that he was involved with. And now we get another solo album, his first since Croz, released not long ago in 2014.
On October 21, Universal Music will release his next solo album, Lighthouse. For now, there is little to know other than it’s coming out.
Lighthouse is planned for CD, DD, and vinyl LP.
