The Cure were a strong band in the ’80s with its Gothic-flavored Rock offerings. Headed by the eccentric Robert Smith, the UK-based band delivered thirteen albums including Pornography (1982), Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me (1987), and their big mainstream release, Disintegration (1989). It was Disintegration that led the way with hits like “Fascination Street”, “Pictures Of You”, and “Lovesong”.
On May 6, Rhino Records will re-release six 2006 2CD Remastered and Expanded Cure titles that include The Top (1984), The Head On The Door (1985), Seventeen Seconds (1980), Pornography (1982), Faith (1981), and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me (1987). The re-releases are the same as their 2006 reissue content so this news isn’t BIG news unless you were unable to score a copy of any or all of these six titles.
Second chances!
