If you’ve heard of Rival Sons, perhaps even love them, then you understand why they were picked to open for Black Sabbath, worldwide, on Black Sabbath’s ‘ending it all’ farewell tour. Rival Sons have a professional blend of Rock and Roll that is as satisfying as it gets. They were just born in the wrong time. If they were active in the ’70s, they’d be a heavy dose of pleasant nostalgia right now. They are good!
On the heels of their 2014 album, Great Western Valkyrie, Rival Sons (who hail from Long Beach, CA) will be releasing their newest album, Hollow Bones. And if its as good as their previous efforts (Before The Fire – 2009, EP – 2011, Pressure and Time – 2011, Head Down – 2012, Great Western Valkyrie – 2014), then we’re in for some Rock and Roll treat.
On June 10, Rival Sons will release Hollow Bones with nine tracks. The new album will be issued on CD, vinyl LP, and the usual distribution via DD.
